This question can be solved with multiple approaches, but the best approach for this question is to solve by plugging in some values.

Let us use some numbers.
Initially, Jane works 40 hours per week. It takes 1 hour to produce 1 bear.
So, 40 bears per week, 1 bear per hour.
Now with assistant, 80% more bears => 40 + 32( 80% of 42) => 72 bears.
Also time per week has reduced by 10%. => 40 - 4(10% of 40 hours/week) => 36
the new productivity is 2 bears per hour.

Clearly the productivity has increased by 100%. ( 100*(2 - 1)/1 )

Answer should be C.

Let initial productivity be x, so new productivity becomes 1.8x (x + .0.8x)
Let initial time take by y, so new time taken becomes 09.y (y - 0.1y)
Initial output = y/x
New output = 1.8x/0.9y = 2y/x
Comparing the two we see that output is now twice the initial output. Thus, it's a 100% increase.
