One more vote for B, though it is a debatable question but I am with option B, the subject has to be the patchwork (singular).

Subject is singular so surrounds and bustles should also be singular., this leaves us with option B and E. Now whom is used to specify the farm workers (making this statement clearer). OA?

"patchwork"(singular subject) ..... "bustles"(singular verb). "green fields"(plural subject) that "surround"(plural verb). Option A is right as fuck
