Distance between the Sun and a certain planet in Inches = 2.3 x 10^14 

1 kilometer = 3.9 x 10^4 inches

Distance between the Sun and a certain planet in Km = (2.3 x 10^14)/ (3.9 x 10^4) 

= (23/39)* 10^10

= (230/39) * 10 ^ 9

= 5.9 * 10 ^ 9
